Energy Services Team Manager at Portsmouth City Council
Andrew manages the team responsible for energy services at Portsmouth City and Gosport Borough Council. This includes energy efficiency and micro-generation capital projects, procurement and management of utilities and fuel poverty mitigation programmes.
He has recently picked up the Energy Manager of the Year 2020 award (Public Sector) at the 2020 Energy Managers Associations (EMA) awards. Andrew was recognised for a number of achievements, most notably; helping to promote energy efficiency and renewable generation by putting it at the core of the council’s priorities, as well as training the next generation of energy professionals through his team’s graduate scheme.
