Serg Members at World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi
Prof AbuBakr Bahaj and Dr Patrick James exhibited aspects of the group’s work at the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A 10th scale tidal stream turbine which is used to assess blade design was shown on the UK stand of the exhibition. Tidal stream energy is seen as one of the key emerging technologies for the UK and was a focus of the visit of HRH the Duke of York and Princess Beatrice of York to the UK stand.
